Heartwood wins the World Fantasy Award for Best Anthology!

Yes, you read that right. Last weekend it was the World Fantasy Convention in Brighton, culminating in this year's World Fantasy Awards - and I'm utterly thrilled (and rather blown away) to say that I was awarded the award for Best Anthology, for Heartwood: A Mythago Wood Anthology.

If you were there, you'll already have heard me thank everyone involved in the book; but in case you weren't there's a handy video below. Massive congratulations, too, to Maura McHugh for getting Best Short Story for 'Raptor', her contribution to the anthology; and to Steve J. Shaw, publisher of my collections Only the Broken Remain and Green Fingers, as well as the anthology For Tomorrow, for receiving the Special Award - Non-Professional. I hope both celebrated in style!
