Some projects are quick to develop, and come to fruition in the public eye. Others take their time, simmering away in the background.
Unearthed is one of the latter. This has been a long-term project of mine over the past couple of years: co-edited with Philip Fracassi, it collects together nineteen brand-new tales of ancient ruins and archeological horror, exploring the stories and the secrets buried beneath some of the world's most famous sites. From Stonehenge to Machu Picchu, Pompeii to the Pine Barrens, Unearthed brings forgotten terrors back into the light - Indiana Jones can't help you now.
Unearthed will be published by Titan Books on 15 September, and more details will be forthcoming - but they've shared this cover reveal with us this week, and I think you'll agree it already looks stunning. Hold onto your fedoras, and keep an eye out for more info!
