Unquiet Guests wins a Shirley Jackson Award!

You may have already seen the news a couple of weeks ago that my anthology for Dead Ink last year, Unquiet Guests, won a Shirley Jackson Award for Best Edited Anthology at Readercon in the US. The prize was actually shared this year, with Ellen Datlow's wonderful anthology Night & Day, and I'm thrilled to say that the trophy has found its way safe and sound to British shores.

Those of you with longer memories will recall that I was shortlisted for a Shirley Jackson Award way back in 2019, for my anthology This Dreaming Isle - which makes the win this time around extra special. I'm hugely proud of Unquiet Guests, and the fantastic stories we have in it - do grab a copy if you don't have one already.

This is also a good time to mention that the follow-up, Unhallowed Gifts, will be released in a little over six weeks' time - so if you haven't pre-ordered your copy, be sure to do that. All copies pre-ordered direct from Dead Ink will come signed by yours truly, so make sure you use the link below.
